As the clock ticks down to midnight each December 31st, there’s no place I’d rather be than at Bar Pino, the elegant Italian restaurant at Turning Stone Resort and Casino. Hosting my annual New Year’s Eve Piano Show here is a tradition I cherish, and this year’s celebration was nothing short of a great time.
An Upscale Piano Bar Experience
Bar Pino provides the perfect backdrop for an upscale evening of music, dining, and celebration. With its warm ambiance, exquisite menu, and lively atmosphere, the restaurant transforms into a sophisticated piano bar for the evening. What sets my New Year’s Eve show apart is the emphasis on audience participation. Guests are encouraged to request their favorite songs, turning the performance into a dynamic sing-along and dance party. From classic Sinatra and Billy Joel to today’s hits, the playlist evolves with the energy of the crowd. There’s nothing quite like the joy of watching people sing their hearts out or hit the dance floor to a tune they love.
A Celebration to Remember
This year, the crowd was as enthusiastic as ever. The evening kicked off with soft, jazz melodies as guests enjoyed their dinner and drinks, but as the night progressed, the energy in the room grew infectious. Groups sang harmoniously to familiar tunes, couples twirled on the dance floor, and the restaurant was alive with the spirit of celebration.
Some standout moments included an impromptu group rendition of "Piano Man," a lively sing-along to "Sweet Caroline," and a heartfelt request for "New York New York" as the clock struck midnight. Performing at Bar Pino for New Year’s Eve is always a highlight of my year. It’s an honor to share my love of music with such a vibrant and appreciative audience. Seeing guests come together to celebrate, sing, and dance is a reminder of the power of music to bring joy and connection.
